Hi Mike, thankyou for looking into this. I guess the part that got cut off was the 'standard closing announcement' where an invitatioin to respond is given.
I believe that to be a paramount part of the message as well. I did enjoy the sermon portion in its entirety, listening online.
Thanks again.

Dear CJ Boone:

Thank you for letting us know a Podcast had been truncated. I posted the original Podcast in questions (Episode 235) so thought I would check it out, which I did. I checked the copy I had downloaded via iTunes. It it was 47:30, the length it should be. I downloaded a copy directly from the Podcast page (Podcast.wintonchurch.org) and it was 47:30 as well. Then I listened to it with the Flash widget on the Podcast page. It ran the full 47:30 also. When I listened to the end of these Podcasts, the sermon closed with an invitation followed by a few bars of invitation music which faded out. This was followed by the standard closing announcement.

I would like to insure we can all hear the full sermon so if you would be so kind as to tell me a little more descriptively where this got cut off, I’d be grateful. Maybe you could tell me where in the timing of the recording it was truncated and how you were listening to it. If you were listening with the Flash widget on the Podcast page, please insure you are using the most recent Flash Player available at adobecom.

Your input is important to us. Thank you for taking the time to report this problem to us. I am hopeful to hear back from you and work toward a resolution of this issue.

Best Regards,
Mike

Here is a printed excerpt from today's sermon. I thought it was good and hope you do too.

-----

HOW OUR IDEAS OF FATHERHOOD CHANGE OVER TIME

At age 4, we say, "My dad can do anything."

At age 7, we say, "My dad knows a lot."

At age 12, we say, "Oh well, we can't expect Dad to know everything."

At age 14, we say, "My dad is hopelessly out of date and old fashioned. After all, he lived in the olden times."

At age 21, we say, "What should I expect? He just doesn't understand. He's from the epic of dinosaurs, is he not?"

At age 25, we say, "My dad knows quite a bit but not too much. He's learned quite a bit over the last few years."

At age 30, we say, "I need to find out what Dad thinks about me getting this BMW."

At age 40, we say, "What would Dad have thought about this?"

At age 50, we say, "You know, my dad knew something about everything."

At age 60, we say, "I wish I could talk this over with Dad one more time."
